I won a competition, run by TGO magazine, for ‘best walking article’, describing a coast to coast walk I did across Scotland.

I had a poem published in a book entitled “Bright Voices”.

1980s
​
In February 1988 I had an article published in VW Motoring, entitled ‘Beetle Gets Continental Bug’. It depicted the comic adventures of driving an ancient VW Beetle around Europe. This is available by clicking the PDF file here
